David Gilliland starts nine-car wreck three laps into the Coke Zero 400, including Joey Logano, Greg Biffle, and Danica Patrick.
After a three-hour rain delay, it took just three laps for the crashing to begin in the Coke Zero 400 at Daytona International Speedway.
The wreck was triggered by David Gilliland on the fronstretch after the No. 38 Ford slid into Clint Bowyer.
Daytona 500 winner Joey Logano was collected in the melee along with Danica Patrick, Greg Biffle, Bobby Labonte, Michael Annett and Sam Hornish Jr.
Saturday night’s XFINITY Series race winner Austin Dillon was leading the race at the time of the wreck.
