Wurth Group will continue its support of the No. 2 Team Penske Ford and Brad Keselowski.

Wurth, a supplier of high-quality automotive and industrial parts and fasteners, signed a multi-year agreement to prolong its primary sponsorship for three Sprint Cup races in 2015 and as an associate sponsor for the remainder of the season

We are proud of the relationship that Team Penske has built with Wurth over the last three seasons.

“We are proud of the relationship that Team Penske has built with Wurth over the last three seasons,” Roger Penske said in a release. “Wurth has experienced great success with our teams and we will work with them to build on our accomplishments with Brad and the No. 2 Ford."

Racing advocate

Since 1982, Wurth has been active in motorsports from DTM to Formula One. Wurth joined forces with Team Penske initially in 2012 in the Nationwide Series and expanded its support the following season with Keselowski, after he won the Sprint Cup Championship.

“Our business has enjoyed the association with Team Penske,” said Robert Stolz, CEO of Wurth Line North America. “From our events at the race track to our products used in the team’s state-of-the-art racing facility – Wurth has been truly integrated with Team Penske and our partnership has exceeded expectations. We look forward to growing our business and the relationship even further over the coming years.”

Top of his game

Keselowski, 30, is enjoying a remarkable season with a career and series-high six wins, 14 top fives and 17 top 10 finishes. In two of the four races with the Wurth livery, Keselowski finished second – at both Bristol and Dover. Keselowski has led a career-best 1518 laps and a 7.1 average qualifying effort bolstered by five poles. His average finish of 12.9 this season is second only to 2012 when he won the Cup title.

“It has been great to have Wurth on board the No. 2 Ford this year,” Keselowski said. “One of the things that stands out about our relationship with Wurth is that not only do I see their name and colors on our cars – I see their products being put to good use in our race shop. I think that says a lot about our relationship and they have been a big part of our success this season.”
