Cindric planned to make his first start of the year at Dover in May, but inclement weather cancelled qualifying and precluded him from making the field. He was sixth-quickest in practicer prior to the rainout.

Since then, he competed in two NASCAR K&N East races, winning both (VIR and Watkins Glen).

Cindric has continued racing in a diverse number of categories this year, from a McLaren 650S GT3 in Pirelli World Challenge to a Mercedes SLS AMG GT3 at Bathurst and even an ARCA car at Pocono.

Cindric will compete in three races in a third entry for the usual two-truck BKR team. The events listed are Bristol (Aug. 17th), Mosport (Sept. 4th) and Talladega (Oct. 22nd).

PIRTEK will serve as the primary sponsor at BMS and has backed the DJR Team Penske organization in Australian Supercars in the past.

"I'm really grateful to have the opportunity to run three more races with Brad Keselowski Racing at three tracks that are so diverse; I'm definitely being thrown into the deep end of the pool again going into Bristol," Cindric. "The most important thing I need right now is laps under my belt. The team has a great history at Bristol and excellent knowledge of that track."

Cindric made his debut at the national level of NASCAR last October in the CWTS race at Martinsville, qualifying 14th and finishing 25th. He returned for the penultimate event of the season at Phoenix, bringing home a 14th-place finish after starting 21st.

"From what I understand, Dover is actually like a bigger version of Bristol, so that gives me a little bit of confidence, especially with how quickly we got up to speed and how fast our Ford F-150 was there," Cindric said. "I've learned a lot more about how to drive a truck and a stock car since my past experience at Phoenix and Dover. We'll just go to Bristol and be a sponge."
