Rust to make debut for RWR in 6 truck

18 year old Ryan Rust, of Port St. Lucie, Florida will be making his NASCAR Camping World Truck Series debut at O'Reilly Raceway Park. Rust has competed in the Late Model Stock Series as well as the Pro Challenge Series over the past few years and looks forward to taking the wheel of the #6 Adopt A Hero truck for Rick Ware Racing.

Rust has spent a majority of his young life driving race cars and attention to his cause, the "Adopt a Hero Program.

The "Adopt a Hero" Program has over 200,000 supporters, and has sent out over 75,000 packages to active military servicemen and servicewomen in the US Military. The program recently passed one million cards, letters, emails and computer mail sent to pen pals. This program has received recognition by the Marine Corp Association, and Ryan has received a Marine Corps coin and the Young American Patriots Award.

The program has now partnered with the USO (United Service Organization) with a mutual goal of providingsupport to as many of our service men and women as possible.

This program is 100% selfless, since there is no direct involvement because the program simply puts theadopter in contact with the overseas service personnel at no charge, it can be run with no overhead expense other that marketing, paid for by Ryan and his family. To this day, the program has adopted service personnel in Iraq, Afghanistan, Somalia, Haiti and other short term deployments. Every single day Patriots sign up to help and service men and women sign up to be adopted. The Adopt a Hero program works with 1000's of newly deployed Hero's at all times.
