Kyle Busch wins in dominating fashion at Dover

Kyle Busch dominated the Lucas Oil 200 NASCAR Camping World Truck Series race at Dover (Del.) International Speedway on Friday, keeping his No. 51 Kyle Busch Motorsports Toyota tundra out front for 150 of the 200 laps that made up the race. It is his fourth win in four races entered this season.

"It's fun to be able to come out here and race in this series," Busch said.

The No. 29 Brad Keselowski Racing Ford of Ryan Blaney finished second, and the No. 98 ThorSport Racing Toyota of Johnny Sauter was third.

"Pretty solid afternoon for us," Blaney, who started the race from the 14th position, said. "We made our way to the front there in the beginning and had a loose wheel with about 50 to go. Luckily we caught it."

Busch started on the pole by owner's points after qualifying was cancelled due to rain. Busch only lost the lead because of a caution that occurred as he was on pit road. Busch drove straight through to keep himself on the lead lap and headed back down pit road for service with the other lead lap trucks under the yellow.

Busch restarted eighth while the No. 88 ThorSport Racing Toyota of Matt Crafton assumed the lead. Busch quickly got up to third and retook the lead from Crafton with just under 80 laps to go.

"Basically, coming down pit road there, I was going to be back in traffic, so I said, 'go ahead and tighten me up some.'" Crafton was the only other driver to lead a significant number of laps and ran second to Busch for most of the race until he hit the wall on lap 157, ending his night.

"I just blew a right front (tire)," Crafton said. "It's a shame, because I thought we might've been able to run with him (Busch) there at the end."

The No. 33 Turner Scott Motorsports Chevrolet of Brandon Jones stayed out during the caution for Crafton's accident to restart the race in the lead, but was quickly overpowered by Busch and Sauter. Blaney took the runner-up spot from Sauter with 16 laps remaining but was unable to run down Kyle Busch. Jones lost a couple more positions in the closing stages, but still managed to place fourth.

"It was an eventful day," Sauter said. "Just proud of my guys."

The No. 21 GMS Racing Chevrolet of Joey Coulter finished fifth. Finishing sixth through 10th were the No. 8 SWM-NEMCO Motorsports Toyota of John Hunter Nemechek, the No. 31 Turner Scott Motorsports Chevrolet of Ben Kennedy, the No. 19 Brad Keselowski Racing Ford of Tyler Reddick, the No. 77 Red Horse Racing Toyota of German Quiroga and the No. 17 Red Horse Racing Toyota of Timothy Peters.

Crafton wound up 23rd after leading 46 laps. The finish cost him the points lead, leaving Dover a single point behind Peters.
