Sieg Slides Back in for Ballew at Nashville

Lebanon, TN (August 4, 2008)

Shane Sieg will be back in the seat of the No. 51 Miccosukee Resorts Toyota Tundra Saturday, August 9, 2008 for the running of the Toyota Tundra 200 at the Nashville Superspeedway. Sieg was last in the Billy Ballew Motorsports NASCAR Craftsman Truck in Memphis, where he had a career best finish of ninth.

Although, 2008 NASCAR Sprint Cup Series Championship leader, Kyle Busch was slated to be in the Miccosukee Resort/NOS Energy Drink at ORP Sieg was on hand in case of inclement weather.

"We had such a great run in Memphis that it was hard to set back and watch at ORP," Sieg said. "Kyle (Busch) is just a great driver and it was important for me to learn from him on the handling of the truck. Richie (Wauters) and I work well together and I have learned a lot from him not being in the seat. I am ready to put that education to use and finish upfront this weekend in Nashville."

Sieg has one start in 2004 in the NASCAR Cra ftsman Truck Series. Billy Ballew Motorsports has five starts at the 1.5-mile concrete speedway. Ballew's best finish was 11th posted by Shane Hmiel in 2004. Nashville is known as a track that can be difficult to master but a fan favorite for the great racing. The 1.5-mile concrete track has been known to be challenging to the most veteran of drivers in the Craftsman Truck Series.

"The concrete can be real tough on tires," Sieg said. "Grip is often more important than speed. This concrete track doesn't give a lot of grip, it is pretty bumpy. I know though that Richie (Wauters) and this Miccosukee Resort team have put together a fast Toyota Tundra for us this weekend. I would love to have a top-5 finish or maybe even a win."

Drivers look forward to victory lane at the Nashville Superspeedway to receive a win trophy like no other. The winner receives a Gibson Guitar hand painted by Sam Bass.

Sieg will be participating in the Craftsman Autograph Session which will be held Saturday, August 9 from 12-1:00pm CT at the Craftsman Mobile Marketing Unit.

Seventeen year-old Chris Jackson, a friend of truck chief, on the No. 15 Billy Ballew Motorsports Tundra, J.R. Norris, was recently paralyzed in an accident. A special decal will adorn the No. 15 truck this weekend. The decal reads "Chris Jackson, In Our Prayers" as a reminder that he isin the hearts of everyone on the Billy Ballew Motorsports race team.
