This Week’s Ram… The PTR Ram team will use a chassis titled “NT” during Saturday’s Too Tough To Tame 200 at Darlington Raceway. Kligerman drove this chassis to ninth-place finish at Texas Motor Speedway in November of 2010.

Teammate, Team Owner… Kligerman is scheduled to run the first 15 races of the NCWTS schedule for team owner, and Penske Racing teammate, Brad Keselowski.

Welcoming a New Crew Chief… BKR recently hired Jeff Stankiewicz as the new crew chief of the No. 29 PTR Ram. Stankiewicz served as car chief for six of Frank Kimmel’s ARCA Series championships. He spent last season as crew chief for driver Brian Scott in the NASCAR Nationwide Series.

Kligerman ARCA Success… In just over one year of competition in the ARCA Series, Kligerman put up some prolific numbers. In 23 series starts, the Westport, Connecticut native scored nine wins, 14 top-five finishes and 20 top-10 results. Kligerman narrowly missed out on the 2009 series championship, but he did secure the Rookie of the Year title that season.

Parker Kligerman on this weekend’s race at Darlington Raceway

“I’m really looking to get back behind the wheel of the No. 29 BKR Ram this weekend at Darlington. I’ve had an extra week to sit and think about our finish at Phoenix and the best way to get over something like that is to get right back on the racetrack. I know all the boys have been working hard to ensure that we have the best Penske Truck Rental Ram possible to tackle ‘The Lady in Black.’ With this being my first time racing at Darlington, I’m going all I can to prepare.”

Crew chief Jeff Stankiewicz on this weekend’s race at Darlington Raceway

“Darlington is going to be a challenging race. I feel if we just concentrate on getting Parker adapted to the track and not worry so much about speed in the first practice, then second practice should just be second nature for him. Darlington is one of my favorite tracks to go to and I’m sure Parker will feel the same way after Saturday night. I wish we had more tracks like Darlington on the schedule. It’s going to be a fun weekend and I'm really looking forward to getting back to the track.”
