LEBANON, TN (September 1, 2005) - BHR2 announced today that Shawn Parker is assuming the crew chief duties for the No. 8 DODGE driven by Deborah Renshaw beginning next week with the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series event at the Richmond International Raceway.

Parker, a native of New York, has been with the BHR2 team all season serving as the truck chief. Shawn brings a vast amount of knowledge and experience that will be beneficial to the team - which is in its second year of competition. He has been in the NASCAR ranks since 1992 when he joined Hendrick Motorsports as part of the No. 24 crew of Jeff Gordon. He would go on to hold positions as such organizations as Penske Racing, Roush Racing and Robert Yates Racing. He reached the pinnacle of his career in 2003 when he served as crew chief for Dale Jarrett and his No. 88 car in the Cup Series.

"This is a great opportunity for me and I look forward to helping this team grow further," said Parker. "The team has progressed along really well so far this season and there is a solid nucleus of guys assembled here. Our goal is to help Deborah finish out the season strong these last eight races and possibly build on something for next season."

Renshaw currently sits 26th in the overall driver's standings in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series with a season best 12th place finish earlier this season at Dover. She has also garnered two top-ten qualifying efforts in her first full season in the series.
