Jason White Reunites with SS Green Light Racing

MOORESVILLE, N.C., January 13, 2010 -- SS Green Light Racing is pleased to announce that veteran NASCAR Camping World Truck Series driver Jason White will pilot the team's No. 23 Dodge Ram for the full 2010 NCWTS season beginning at Daytona International Speedway on February 12th.

Long-time supporter GunBroker.com will sponsor White with ASI Limited adorning the quarter panels at selected events.

In 2001, the Virginia native made his debut in the NCWTS and ran partial schedules for numerous teams until joining the series full time in 2007. The No. 23 team will run primarily Dodge trucks throughout the 2010 season and has upgraded much of its equipment from last season.

"We bought a new truck that we are going to run at Daytona. We're looking forward to getting the season started," White said. "We've done a lot of wind tunnel on it. I think we have a good shot at running up front."

Doug Howe, who has been White's crew chief for the last two seasons will again lead the No. 23 team. This year Howe will have the added guidance of Bobby Dotter, who will move from the pit box of the SS Green Light No. 07 team to the General Manager role joining Howe on race day.

White had a breakout season finishing sixteenth in points while scoring two top-five and four top-ten finishes in 2009. "We had some great runs last year and building on our program from last year with Doug and the guys from SS Green Light Racing will make us even stronger in 2010. It's going to be a great season for us. We're excited."

"It's a new team. But it's a team that has been in existence a couple years. We've added some talented people and having Bobby's experience will just make us better."

Steve Urvan, CEO of GunBroker.com, believes great things are on the horizon for White and the team. "Jason has been with GunBroker.com Racing since 2006. We believe in him and are finally able to put him in equipment worthy of his talent. Our goal for 2010 is two wins and a top-five finish in points. Ambitious but we think it's possible with our combined team efforts."

"In 2009 our best race was Las Vegas where we qualified 3rd and finished 3rd. SS Green Light Racing had their best season ever with some solid finishes and a bunch of top-ten starts," Urvan explained. "In 2010 GunBroker.com Racing is bringing one of the best fleets of race trucks and a great Crew Chief in Doug Howe to SS Green Light Racing. This combined equipment, knowledge and experience will allow us to field a first class competitive race team."

Ken Smith, co-owner of SS Green Light Racing and President of ASI Limited is expecting great things this year. "We are excited to be reunited with Jason White and GunBroker.com. Even though we were not racing together in 2009, we watched each other closely and the progress both entities made on and off the track. We talked throughout the year and we both felt that combining our equipment, technical resources and sponsors was a logical step in the development of our teams. This collaboration will create a robust effort that will put this team in the limelight in 2010." Smith also added, "We are still planning to campaign the No. 07 truck in 2010 and we should be announcing the driver lineup for that team shortly."
