* The Aaron's 312 will mark the first return to Atlanta in a Busch car for Buckshot Jones since 1998. Jones did compete at Atlanta Motor Speedway in 1999 as a Winston Cup driver.

* The race this weekend is just like a homecoming for Jones. Buckshot grew up and attended high school in Tucker, Ga before going on to attend the University of Georgia.
