Dave Blaney Hopes For Irish Luck On St. Patrick's Day

* Although not Irish himself, Dave Blaney is hoping a little "luck of the Irish" is bestowed on the No. 10 ABF U-PACK Moving team this weekend in Atlanta as they compete in the Busch Series race on St. Patrick's Day! Last Saturday in Las Vegas, Blaney had a top-10 run going but lost it in a split second when his car spun. Finishing 25th, Blaney hopes the team can recover from that bump in the road and run strong this Saturday afternoon in the Nicorette 300.

* Atlanta Motor Speedway (AMS) is one of Dave Blaney's favorite tracks and his stats back that up. In Busch Series competition, Blaney has logged three starts at AMS, he captured one top-five and two top-10 finishes. He also claimed the Busch pole and finished second in 1999.

* Blaney and the No. 10 Braun Racing team welcome sponsor ABF U-PACK Moving back for the Nicorette 300. ABF U-PACK Moving also sponsored Blaney in California earlier this season when he sat on the pole and finished 10th.

BLANEY ON RACING AT ATLANTA MOTOR SPEEDWAY:

"Atlanta is one of my favorite tracks. The track is really fast and has two grooves for racing. We'll just move around and find the best one to get the car to the front. With the harder tires, your car really has to handle well on the long runs to win the race. I think we'll focus most on getting a good setup and see what happens. These guys at Braun Racing are building really good, really fast cars. We are capable of finishing in the top-five every week; we just need to have a little luck go our way to make it happen."

EQUIPMENT INFORMATION:

The No. 10 ABF U-PACK Moving team will compete with chassis #24 in this weekend's Nicorette 300. This is the same car Blaney captured the pole and finished 10th with at California Speedway earlier this season.
