BUSCH: Carroll Racing inks Dr. Pepper sponsor

DENVER, NC - Dr Pepper has teamed with Carroll Racing as primary sponsor for the 2001, 2002 and 2003 NASCAR Busch Series Grand National Division season. With driver to be announced this week, Carroll Racing will field the Dr Pepper Chevrolet Monte Carlo No. 26.

Since 1997, Dr Pepper has shown their commitment to the fastest-growing spectator sport in America. Dave Carroll, owner of Carroll Racing, has dedicated his time, energy and resources to establishing a highly competitive racing business. With "hands-on" owner attitude and former driving experience, Carroll has assembled 16 full-time racing professionals, committed to the team's success.

Carroll Racing's impressive first full season in the Busch Series included starting all 32 races on the 2000 schedule. In addition, Carroll Racing earned ten Top-10 starts and eight Top-15 finishes. With a best finish of fourth at Talladega Superspeedway in the spring, Carroll Racing finished up the year strong by capturing their first pole-position at the season finale in Homestead.
