After securing a one race sponsorship from the West Virginia Board of Tourism, Tim Sauter bounced back from a 39th-place qualifying effort to finish 13th in the Little Trees 300 at Lowe's Motor Speedway. Sauter made his way up through the field after the drop of the green. He was up to 26th position before being caught a lap down by the third caution of the race on Lap 95. However after restarting at the front of the pack, to the inside of the leaders, Sauter raced back onto the lead lap when a fourth caution fell on Lap 100. Back on the lead lap and up to speed with the leaders, Sauter continued his ascent, climbing into the Top 15 by Lap 159. The move of the race for Sauter came on Lap 175 when he pitted under green taking on only two tires and returning to the track in the 13th position. Sauter managed to hold his position for the remaining 25 laps, bringing the No. 19 Team West Virginia Chevy home unscathed for his third straight Top-15 finish.

TIM SAUTER POST RACE QUOTES:

Did you expect to finish 13th today after starting 39th? "I had no idea what to expect. We struggled so bad during practice and qualifying. I knew there was a lot of room for improvement. Charlotte is one of our trouble tracks, so we were determined to improve here like we did at Darlington and Dover. We could still have been better, but we will take this finish and move on to Memphis."

How did the No. 19 Team West Virginia Chevy handle today "We were loose into the turns, which is a little unnerving for me. I would rather be loose off than loose in. However, we just didn't fall off during a long run. Our adjustments helped, and we were the best we had been all weekend by the end of the race."

How about the pitwork today... "Taking on two tires on the last stop was definitely the right call. Our pit stops were quick again today. The guys are really staying with it here down the homestretch."
