MOORESVILLE, NC--FitzBradshaw Racing announces today that Scott Riefner, crew chief for driver Tim Fedewa and the No. 12 Supercuts/Hot Tamales Chevrolet Monte Carlo, will no longer be with the team. Riefner has decided to move on to pursue other career opportunities.

Riefner has worked with the No. 12 team from the beginning of the 2004 NASCAR Busch Series season serving as car chief for the first 13 races of the season and taking over as crew chief for the MBNA America 200 at Dover International Speedway.

Both FitzBradshaw Racing and Riefner maintain that the spilt is amicable.

"We wish Scott the best and thank him for doing such a good job for us," said team co-owner Armando Fitz.

Fedewa and the No. 12 team have been consistent all year, never dropping lower than 17th in the points race and getting as high as ninth at two different times during the year. He currently sits in 13th, just 151 points out of the Top 10.

FitzBradshaw Racing is owned by NASCAR veteran Armando Fitz and Pro Football Hall of Fame member and FOX broadcaster Terry Bradshaw. The team fields three cars in the NASCAR Busch Series: the No. 12 Chevrolet Monte Carlo, sponsored by Supercuts, Hot Tamales, and Bicycle Playing Cards; the No. 14 Chevrolet Monte Carlo, sponsored by the Navy; and the No. 82 Chevrolet Monte Carlo sponsored by Jani-King and Goulds Pumps.

FitzBradshaw Racing will be featured all season long on the SPEED Channel reality show NBS 24/7. The show airs every Monday night at 8:00 p.m. and re-airs Mondays at midnight, Tuesdays at 10:30 a.m., Wednesdays at 6:00 p.m., and on Saturdays at 10:30 a.m.
