HARVICK ON MILWAUKEE: "It's a flat, old racetrack with a lot of heritage. All types of series have been running there for a long time. It's a little bit like Loudon but the corners are longer. In turn one, you turn down in, it straightens out in the middle and then you turn it again. It has a double apex. You accelerate down the backstretch and get ready for three and four. Three and four have two grooves. Most guys run three and four higher, but some will have the car working down on the white line."

"It can be difficult to pass. You have to set them up to pass. You work on a guy, stick your nose in a couple of times before you make your move."

"Qualifying is really important. On the flat tricky tracks, it's always
important. You have to start up front to have a chance to win at the end."

"I would love to win the race because Milwaukee has one of the coolest trophies on the series - it's a big crystal trophy."

DR. DOUBLE DUTY: Harvick is attempting to compete in more racing than any other driver in the modern history of NASCAR. Harvick will be competing in 70 races total, full Winston Cup and Busch Series schedules with one NASCAR Truck race at Richmond. Harvick has competed in 32 races so far and is approaching the halfway point of his season, which on his calendar is the after he completes next weekend's Busch race at Watkins Glen.

There are six extra challenging weekends where Harvick will be competing in two different races at different tracks, in different states. He has done exceptionately well during the double duty weekends which is also known as Happy's Big Adventure. <pre> Happy's Big Adventure 1. LAST YEAR AT MILWAUKEE: Kevin Harvick started 11th for last year's Sears Diehard 250 at the Milwaukee Mile. He ran in the top five most of the race, but then finished in a disappointing 11th position after handling problems kept him from running up front.

"We probably had the air pressure down too low for most of the day," Harvick said. "It caused us to struggle on the short runs. We ran great times during the long runs, but with seven cautions we didn't always have the long runs we needed."

POINTS LEAD: Kevin Harvick built his points lead after winning the Outback Steakhouse 300 at Kentucky Speedway two weeks ago. The points lead stands at 122 points currently. That is the largest margin that any competitor has had over the rest of the field.

* The 122-point margin is the largest of the season. Harvick led by 115 points after winning the Jani-King 300 at Texas and led by 91 points after finishing seventh at Nashville.

* Harvick has claimed the Busch Series championship points lead on four different occasions.

* Harvick has led the points after 10 of the 16 races so far this season. He has never been lower than third in the standings. He has been third just once. <pre> LAP COUNT Kevin Harvick will be logging more laps and miles, by far, than any other NASCAR driver this season. Here is the total to date.
