Randy Lajoie and Vision Racing Unite For Kansas Busch Series Event

KANSAS CITY, Kansas (September 22, 2006) - - Adrian Berryhill, team owner of Vision Racing, announced today the signing of former NASCAR Busch Series champion Randy Lajoie to drive his No. 37 Chevrolet Monte Carlo in a one-race deal next Saturday at Kansas Speedway in the Yellow Transportation 300.

Lajoie, a two-time NBS champion in 1996 and 1997 will assist Vision Racing in various elements as the team tries to make a concrete platform in the NASCAR Busch Series.

"We're very excited to have Randy join us for Kansas," said Berryhill, who advanced his team from the ARCA RE/MAX Series earlier this month. "Randy Lajoie is a face that everyone knows and a name that speaks for itself. I feel that by having a veteran in our racecar, he can only steer us in the right direction as we plan to make our mark in this series."

Berryhill continued, "Randy knows everything there is to know about the cars and the series. He is a champion. He is a champion to our sponsors next weekend and we feel that he can put our car upfront and give us some much-needed exposure. This is an awesome opportunity for our young and vibrant race team and I think this is the first of great things to come."

Lajoie has two prior starts at Kansas Speedway occurring in 2001 and 2002. His best finish came in 2002 where he crossed the line 17th after starting 18th.JJ"I'm looking forward to driving for Vision Racing at Kansas," said Lajoie. "If their vision is as good as mine, I think we can have a good weekend."

"Randy has the experience on the track at Kansas and that will help us," Berryhill explained. "He has run well there and is a contender on the mile and a half tracks and I plan to give him everything I can so he can get the job done."

Vision Racing attempted to make their NBS debut a few weeks ago at Richmond. After a gallant effort, the team just missed the show with rookie driver Josh Krug. "We came a long way in a short time at Richmond," recalled Berryhill, who will serve as the crew chief at Kansas. "We started off in the wrong direction, but by the end of qualifying, we came up just a little short. I'm proud of the gains we made at the track; we're ready to move on."

Krug, who has made quite an impression in the ARCA RE/MAX Series the past two seasons is still with Vision Racing but is unable to run next weekend's event because of the approval process in NASCAR. "Josh isn't approved to run the bigger tracks yet, but we wanted to run Kansas so we looked at our options and knew Randy Lajoie was the best fit for this additional race," Berryhill explained.

The team will roll out a Chevrolet Monte Carlo recently purchased from Doug Stringer formally of Akins Motorsports, but now currently partnered with Todd Braun of Braun Racing. Pro Motor Engineering (pme) will supply the horsepower at Kansas. "We have stout equipment. Both of the operations that we have purchased our equipment have proven themselves as winners in the NASCAR Busch Series, that's good for us. Our entire team deserves to have the best equipment possible and I think we've done a good job in that department," added Berryhill.

Backing the team's primary effort is Americash Advance.com. Americash Advance. com is a leader in the small loan cash advance industry that provides loans to consumers through direct deposit into the consumers bank account within one business day all from the comfort of their home or office. It is a great service to consumers who are in the need for quick cash up to $1500. The funds can literally be sent to the consumers account within 30 minutes of making the application with Americash Advance.com. This could be real handy for the race fan that has spent all their cash at the races over the weekend. Meeks Lithograph is excited about the additional exposure for the printing giant that has accounts such as Arbys, Hilti and Quiktrip.

"Americash Advance has been with Vision Racing since their inception and we're looking forward to having them on board at Kansas, Berryhill noted. " We're looking for a strong run at our home track and I think the key elements are in piece in order to make that happen."

Meeks and Henry Primeaux Kia will serve as associate sponsors on the No. 37 also at Kansas. "It's an honor for us to carry the Meeks and Henry Primeaux Kia colors next weekend. Both of them have moved up from our ARCA program to our new endeavor in NASCAR. Our sponsors are committed to us in Kansas and we're looking forward to working with them for a long time to come."
