NOTES

§ Matt Kenseth captured his 50th career top 10 finish with his 8th place running at Phoenix International Raceway last weekend. Kenseth has 84 Busch Series career starts, averaging a top ten finish 60% of the time.

§ Kenseth will be signing autographs at the Pinecrest Home Depot on Thursday, November 11 from 7-8 PM. The store is located at the corner of SW 136th Street and US 1.

§ The DeWALT Team tested at the Homestead Miami Speedway October 18 in preparation for the Hotwheels.com 300.

§ The Busch Series Championship was determined in Phoenix, but Matt Kenseth still has to fight to finish in 2nd spot. Kenseth leads Jeff Green by 66 points going into the Miami race weekend.

MATT'S THOUGHTS

"The DEWALT crew has worked hard all year. Our goal was to win the championship. We just haven't been as consistent this year as we needed to be. To get beat by the same guy two years in a row hurts. On the other hand we've had a good year. We've won more races than last and led about twice as many laps.... We just have to go to Homestead and do the best we can to still finish second in the point's race.... I like the Homestead facility. In the two times I've race there we've been able to grab top ten finishes. It's going to take a top five finish at Miami to stay ahead of Green."
