Kenny Wallace on Richmond International Raceway...

"Richmond is such a great track. I have had a lot of success at the .75- mile speedway in the Busch Series and love racing there. I am excited about taking the Stacker 2® team there this weekend.

"We tested at RIR before Bristol and learned a couple of things that will really help us during the race. I think that with all the changes that NASCAR has made in the last year, we needed to use a test to work on our short track program. I know we have done our homework on RIR, and I feel like we'll have a good run with the Stacker 2®/YJ Stinger Chevrolet.

"Our team has been coming on strong the past couple of weeks, which will set us up to have a good final 10 races. I think this team's hard work is really paying off, and we have the good finishes to show for it. I am looking forward to these last 10 weeks in the 2004 season to show the rest of the field that we are a contender week in and week out."

Chris Rice on Richmond International Raceway ...

"I love Richmond because it is my home track. I have always run
fairly well there. I had my first Busch Series crew chiefing job there
with Elliott Sadler in 1995. We finish 13th in the race.

"Testing went great. We learned a lot about what Kenny needed for the short tracks because we have really struggled there this year. I think this will be one of our best shots at winning a race this year if it all goes as well as testing did.

"I think our team has really come together as one. Sometimes our team does not have the finishes that go along with the runs, but everyone from the road crew all the way down to the boys that sweep the floor in the shop is giving 110 percent, which is all I can ask."

Get to Know Jack...One-year-old Jack Sable suffers from a chromosome disorder that affects many people in the United States. When Stacker 2® heard about Jack and his condition, it took the family under its wing. For every lap Wallace and the Stacker 2®/YJ Stinger® team completes this year, NVE Pharmaceuticals, the parent company of Stacker 2®, will donate $1 to the Sable family to help pay for Jack's medical costs. So far this season, the Stacker 2®/YJ Stinger® team has raised $4,567 to help Jack and his family.
