Milka Duno's NASCAR Nationwide Series premiere at Bristol Motor Speedway this weekend will mark the first time in NASCAR's history that a Hispanic female driver will compete in a NASCAR national series race in the United States. She will pilot a Toyota Canry for RAB Racing with Brack Maggard under the lights in Friday night's Food City 300 at Bristol Motor Speedway.

Duno joins RAB Racing for her Nationwide Series' debut and first time racing at Bristol. Duno, though, is no stranger to short-track racing. In her three years of competition in the ARCA Racing Series (ARCA) she competed in multiple races at the short tracks of the series' schedule. In the seven short track races she competed in her first full ARCA season in 2013, she scored two top-10 finishes (eighth at Salem Speedway and 10th at Winchester Speedway) and never finished below 15th.

"I really like short-track racing and enjoyed those races in ARCA very much. But this will not only be my first time racing at Bristol, it will also be my first NASCAR Nationwide Series race, and I know that the competition at this level is fierce. I'm sure that it will be a big challenge and together with the RAB Racing crew we'll be working hard to earn a good result."

RAB Racing has fielded Nationwide Series entries at Bristol Motor Speedway 12 times since 2008, with drivers Kelly Admiraal, Alex Bowman, James Buescher, John Wes Townley and Kenny Wallace. Keith Hinkein will serve as crew chief of the No. 29 Toyota Camry this weekend. Hinkein has sat atop the pit box as a Nationwide Series crew chief at Bristol Motor Speedway once in the past with Wallace.
