Fontana II: Dodge teams qualifying quotes

BRAD KESELOWSKI (No. 22 America's Tire Dodge Charger) Qualified Third

"It was an awesome run in our America's Tire Dodge Charger. I'm proud of everyone on this team who helps in giving me a fast race car. It's early in the morning (laughs). It's hard to get your eyes open this early in the morning and drive fast. A solid lap for us that's for sure. This is a place that I've struggled at in qualifying and to run a lap like we did is really good."

WHAT KIND OR RACE DO YOU EXPECT LATER TODAY? "It's going to be hot and slick. For me, this is one of my favorite Nationwide races of the year because the cars are underpowered and the track is big enough that it becomes a drafting race. We'll see, because the middle section of the race will get strung out a bit, but the end of the race will come down to a drafting session and it will depend on what line you get in and who you follow.

"I run good here, but I've never closed the deal. I've been really close the last two or three years and had cars that I felt were capable of winning, we just didn't close the deal. It's my type of race and it's up to me to finish it."

JUSTIN ALLGAIER (No. 12 Verizon Wireless Dodge Charger) Qualified 11th

"The Verizon Wireless Dodge guys have done a great job all weekend. Unfortunately, we went out too late, that's one of the biggest things that hurt us. We didn't have the lap that we would have liked. Yesterday, we didn't make a qualifying run and we didn't put stickers on because we knew that we wouldn't have any benefit today for qualifying. It was a decent run. I think that we'll end up somewhere inside the top 15 or so which will give us a pretty good starting spot for the race. As long as we can maintain and get some track position, we'll be in good shape."

HOW DOES THE RACE SHAPE UP FOR YOU? "I think that we can run in the top five. Can we win? I don't know yet. The Gibbs cars are always strong here. We had a good car in practice yesterday. The biggest thing now is being able to change lanes and make your car work in multiple lanes. Our car was kind of all over the place yesterday; that was exciting. It's going to be hot. I think that the people that guessed right on their setups are going to be the ones to beat and hopefully, we make the right adjustments."
