The defending winner of the last two XFINITY Series wins — from the pole — on the 2.45-mile track completed 10 laps during final practice.
Kyle Busch, Brad Keselowski, Ryan Reed, Paul Menard, Kyle Larson, Kevin Harvick, Erik Jones, Daniel Hemric and Justin Allgaier rounded out the top 10-single lap speeds.
Keselowski shot to the top of the speed chart after posting his first lap of 120.781mph in the opening minutes of practice.
Eight minutes into the session, Logano bumped his Team Penske compadre with a lap of 121.439mph. After the first 10-minutes, 33 drivers completed a lap with Kyle Busch (120.655mph) third, followed by Harvick, Larson, Menard, Custer, Poole, Allgaier and Hemric.
NASCAR red-flagged the 55-minute session 11 minutes in after Stephen Young spun. Young's 23 laps were the most completed in practice.
Caution was called for debris at the 20-minute mark. Logano remained atop the board followed by Keselowski, Busch, Harvick and Larson when the track went green. But four minutes later, before the competitors completed a lap, Dylan Lupton spun out into the gravel in Turn 10 to trigger the red flag. Matt Tifft’s nine laps were the most completed.
After the No. 24 Toyota was pulled from the kitty litter, the session continued at the 32-minute mark. Busch vaulted to second-quick with a lap of 121.412mph.
“The back is too easy to slip, too easy to slide,” Busch said after completing six laps.
Keselowski dropped to third followed by Harvick, Larson, Menard, Jones, Justin Allgaier, Cole Custer and Elliott Sadler.
“I was better right there, just struggling to get a good lap,” Allgaier said. “I was inconsistent there.”
Ryan Reed jumped to fourth-fast with a lap of 120.617mph in the final five minutes of practice. Menard fell to fifth followed by Harvick, Jones, Larson, Hemric and Allgaier.
