CITIFINANCIAL CONTINUES RELATIONSHIP WITH ROUSH FENWAY RACING
Community-Based Lender Tabs Ricky Stenhouse Jr. to Pilot No. 6 Ford in 2010

CONCORD, N.C. (Jan. 14, 2010) -- CitiFinancial announced today its continued agreement with Roush Fenway Racing to sponsor an entry in the NASCAR Nationwide Series (NNS) for the 2010 season. The community-based lender will serve as the primary sponsor on the No. 6 Ford Fusion with driver Ricky Stenhouse Jr. for 18 races, and it will be the associate sponsor for the remaining events on the schedule. CitiFinancial will also support Stenhouse as he makes his bid to become the 2010 NNS Rookie of the Year and compete in the overall series driver standings.

"We are extremely pleased to be continuing our relationship with Roush Fenway Racing," said Mary McDowell, president and CEO of CitiFinancial North America. "We are even more excited about supporting Ricky (Stenhouse Jr.) as he sets out to become the Nationwide Series Rookie of the Year. Our partnership with Roush Fenway the past two years has produced positive results on and off the track, and we look to continue building our brand by being associated with one of the most exciting and popular sports in the world. Both our customers and employees are huge fans of NASCAR and we hope they will enjoy watching Ricky and the No. 6 CitiFinancial team compete for wins and a Rookie of the Year title."

Over the last two seasons the CitiFinancial Race program with Roush Fenway drivers Greg Biffle, Colin Braun, Erik Darnell, Carl Edwards, Matt Kenseth, Jamie McMurray and Stenhouse has produced some impressive results. In all the group has recorded five wins, five poles, 23 top-five finishes and 41 top-10 efforts in 70 NNS starts. In 2010 it will be up to Stenhouse to maintain the solid statistics.

"I'm really excited to be the one carrying the CitiFinancial banner driving the No. 6 Ford in 2010," said Stenhouse Jr. "CitiFinancial has been a fixture in the Nationwide Series for a number of years and it will be a pleasure to represent the company and employees of the over 2000 branches located in communities throughout the U.S. and Canada. Next year is going to be a big learning experience for me, but I'm ready for the challenge and look forward to getting the CitiFinancial team back to Victory Lane."

The No. 6 CitiFinancial Ford Fusion will make its debut in the season opener at Daytona International Speedway on Feb. 13. CitiFinancial is also scheduled to be the primary sponsor on the No. 6 at many of the other premier tracks and events throughout the 2010 season including; Texas Motor Speedway (Apr. 17 & Nov. 6), Talladega Superspeedway (Apr. 24), Charlotte Motor Speedway (May 29), Bristol Motor Speedway (Aug. 20) and the season finale at Homestead-Miami Speedway (Nov. 20).
