Kyle Busch crossed the finish line second behind race-winner Brad Keselowski. Busch, who led the field three times for 33 laps, had to fall to the back of the grid at the start of the race after his team made adjustments to his car after qualifying, but quickly worked his way to the front of the field.

KYLE BUSCH, No. 54 Monster Energy Toyota Camry, Joe Gibbs Racing (Finishing Position: 2nd)

Did you have a chance at the end of the race? “I don’t know what caused us to lose the lead. That was unfortunate. I think that was the race. Our car was super fast on the long run when guys would get there tires hot and use up everything and what not. You could see everybody hang with us for about 10 (laps), and then 10 to 20 (laps), and then about from 30 (laps) on is what me better than the rest. The best motor won today, that’s for sure. Probably the best car – he was really good. That’s all we had.”

How was your race overall? “Good race for us. The Monster Energy Camry was fast. Faster on the long run than those guys. Lot of issues to fry on Monday.”

Is it tough to come so close at your ‘home’ track? “That doesn’t matter. That’s not the point.”

MATT KENSETH, No. 20 GameStop/Nyko Toyota Camry, Joe Gibbs Racing (Finishing Position: 6th)

ELLIOTT SADLER, No. 11 Interstate Batteries Toyota Camry, Joe Gibbs Racing (Finishing Position: 13th)

MIKE BLISS, No. 19 TriStar Motorsports Toyota Camry, TriStar Motorsports (Finishing Position: 14th)

JAMES BUESCHER, No. 99 Rheem Toyota Camry, RAB Racing (Finishing Position: 18th )

How was your race? “Obviously, not the finish we wanted. We fired off really loose. We got to a point in the run where we were really, really loose. We made it better all day long, but by that time we had lost some track position. We got caught speeding on pit road to avoid getting run over for a green flag stop. They were right behind me and didn’t give enough back. Put ourselves in a hole there and weren’t able to catch any breaks to get out of the hole. We were really good the second half of the race. On restarts we were really, really good. We were able to pass cars and do a lot on the first part of the runs. But, we couldn’t do anything on the long runs.”
