Kelly Moore wins record 45TH career Bud pole for Saturday's New Hampshire 125 at NHIS; point leader Santerre 3rd with contenders Leighton & Kobyluck 10th & 11th.

LOUDON, N.H.-- Kelly Moore won the Bud Pole for Saturday's New Hampshire 125 Busch North Series, NASCAR Touring race at New Hampshire International Speedway with a non-record run of 30.304 seconds at a speed of 125.686 miles per hour around the 1.058 mile superspeedway. It was Moore's 45th career Bud Pole, more than double the total of his nearest rival, and his third of the 2002 season, including the Busch 125 at NHIS in May.

Dale Quarterley will share the front row with Moore's NAPA Auto Parts Chevrolet, with point leader Andy Santerre and Dale Shaw in row two. Brad Leighton and Matt Kobyluck, who trail Santerre by 27 and 34 points respectively, will start tenth and eleventh in the 34-car field. Leighton is seeking to extend his record three-race winning streak at NHIS.

Dennis Demers crashed on his second qualifying lap after setting 19th fastest time.
