Goody's Dash Series, NASCAR Touring Teams On The Track At Daytona

DAYTONA BEACH, FL (February 05 2002) - The stock car portion of Speedweeks 2002 kicked off today with the Goody's Dash Series, NASCAR Touring teams taking to the track for their first practice session. Teams are shaking down their machines in preparation for Saturday's DAYTONA USA "150" at Daytona International Speedway. Larry Caudill was fastest today with an average speed of 162.993 miles per hour. Caudill was also fastest in winter testing just a few weeks ago.
