NO DAY AT THE PARK: MacDONALD WINS AT NEW HAMPSHIRE

LOUDON, N.H. (Sept. 15, 2008) -- One day soon, the reading books for young school children in the northeastern United States are going to have a new passage:

See Eddie. See New Hampshire Motor Speedway. See Eddie win.

Eddie MacDonald passed Steve Park with slightly more than a lap remaining and won his second NASCAR Camping World Series East race of the season at the one-mile NHMS when he won the Fall 125.

Goodyear is the exclusive tire provider for the Camping World Series West and East programs. The same tires Goodyear manufactures for the Camping World Series applications are also supplied to the NASCAR Canadian Tire Series.

MacDonald led 60 of the race's 125 laps, but had to slip past Park as the pair raced out of turn four toward the white flag to get the lead for the final time. He averaged 93.097 mph over the race distance and beat Park, the former NASCAR Sprint Cup star, by just .365 of a second.

Matt Kobyluck finished third, followed by Matt Hirschman and Austin Dillon.

Joey Polewarczyk Jr. finished sixth, then rushed to Oxford Plains Speedway in Oxford, Maine, where he started 26th and finished fourth in an American Canadian Tour race. Goodyear is the exclusive tire provider for the ACT.

There were 38 starters in the NHMS race.

Kobyluck leads Dillon in the standings, 1,810 to 1,618.
