Denver, NC. (August 20, 2008) -- This weekend Eric Lux will take a break from his GT3 Porsche 911 and climb behind the wheel of the No. 22 CharmHerSocksOff.com/ESR Development Toyota. 20-year old Lux will make his second career oval-track start at Mansfield Motorsports Park's 0.5-mile asphalt speedway in the NASCAR Camping World Series East.

"I am really looking forward to competing in another race with Eddie Sharp Racing," said Lux. "The preparation these guys put into the cars is unbelievable."

The Buffalo, New York-native made his oval track debut with Eddie Sharp Racing at Thompson International Raceway in July 2008. Lux qualified the No. 22 Toyota in the 20th position and brought it home with all four corners still intact and in the 23rd position.

"The last time I had a race in Ohio we came out with a win; however that was a road course!" added Lux. "Hopefully the state will be kind to me again and I can bring home a good finish for ESR."

The win that Lux is referring to is his victory at Mid Ohio in June 2008 in the FarnbacherLoles No. 86 GT3 Porsche 911. Lux has seen fantastic success behind the wheel in the Grand-Am Rolex Series. In 2005, Lux became first 16-year-old to take checkered flag in Rolex 24 at Daytona as well as race in KONI Challenge Series at Daytona. In 2006, Lux became the youngest driver to win a Grand-American Cup race. He won the season opener at Daytona at only 16 years old. Lux shares the No. 86 GT3 Porsche with Leh Keen of Charleston, South Carolina. The teammates also captured a podium finish at Virginia International Raceway this season and the class pole position at Montreal in August.

NASCAR Camping World Series East practice runs from 10:40 a.m. until 12:10 p.m. on Saturday, August 23, 2008. Qualifying follows on Saturday at 1:40 p.m. Drivers will meet with fans and sign autographs at 3:00 p.m. and the green flag for the 75-lap Mansfield 150 drops at 5:30 p.m. All times listed are EASTERN.
