Team GLOCK Excited For Return To Short Tracks
"Spraker Racing Enterprises; Rookie Driver Looking For Third Top-10 Of '07"

THOMPSON, Connecticut (July 12, 2007) - - After another quick break from NASCAR Busch East Series competition, driver Michelle Theriault prepares herself to get back in the saddle as the tour heads north this week to Thompson International Speedway for the seventh installment of the 2007 schedule.

Theriault and her Spraker Racing Enterprises team head to Connecticut on the heels of a solid 13th place effort at New Hampshire International Speedway late last month.

Theriault experienced NHIS first hand and was in the thick of the battle. After mixing herself in the top-five for 30 circuits, Theriault charged back from a late race pit stop to muster another solid finish in her rookie year of competition.

Theriault will return to the short track looking for a strong performance while trying to make history of becoming the first woman in NBES competition to capture the crown on Saturday, July 14th.

"I'm looking forward to getting back behind the wheel of the No. 37 GLOCK, Inc. Chevrolet Monte Carlo SS this weekend," explained Theriault, a native of Connecticut. "We had a pretty good run at New Hampshire. I was really proud of my guys. They put a good racecar together; we just didn't have enough time to get back in the top-10."

Theriault is aware of the beating and banging, typical short track behavior and values the guidance and support from her team to give her the extra boost to perform well.

"Teamwork is everything," added Theriault. "The guys work hard. They stay at the shop late at night, get up early and hold nothing back at the track. As a driver, you can't ask for much more. I just want to thank my guys again for all their efforts this season."

"I've never been to TIS, but I've heard it's a lot like the fairgrounds in Nashville, Tennessee. We recently tested at the track (Nashville) and it went really well. I am banking on my experience at the fairgrounds to hopefully help me find the right groove. I know the first couple laps in practice, I'll learn the track and then I'll get in and fight hard to position ourselves solidly for the race."

Entering TIS, Theriault remains 14th in the NASCAR Busch East Series (NBES) standings. She is just a mere 58 points from the 10th position held by Jeffery Earnhardt. She also ranks seventh in the NBES Rookie-of-the-Year standings, sitting just 24 points from the top spot.
