The "Zero" team is loading up for the long trip west to Lake Erie Speedway in Northeast, PA. Nevin George guided the #0 machine to a 7th place finish at the inaugural visit of the NASCAR Featherlite Modified Touring Series last June. Car owner, Ralph Solhem, is confident the car will be a contender again this weekend.

Nevin George, from Kunkletown, PA, is looking forward to a good run at Lake Erie as his day was shortened last weekend in the Miller Lite 200 at Riverhead Raceway on June 5th. Nevin said, "We had a little bad luck at Riverhead. We seemed to have a gray cloud over us at the end of last season and the beginning of this one. We qualified well at Stafford and Waterford and had good finish at the Speedbowl. The team needed a lift and the sixth place finish was a big help. We finished in the top fifteen at Nazareth, but we lost the rear end at the Haynes 150 (Stafford). Hopefully all the bad racing karma has been spent on the last two events!" He continued, "Honestly, we are really looking forward to racing at Lake Erie Speedway. It's a really great facility and a tough little track to tame. Except for the travel I look forward to racing there!"

"Lake Erie Speedway has an on-track autograph session that was a real big hit with the fans last season. Ralph and the crew were busy all week prepping the racecars for this weekend. I have set a goal for myself to be back in the top ten in the point standings by the time we leave Wall Township Stadium -- we're currently in 13th and 62 points out of tenth. The team works hard to keep us racing."

The Bruce George Excavating Chevrolet will be ready for action at the .375-mile track at Lake Erie Speedway.
