Kyle Busch to drive for Roush Racing

LAS VEGAS -- Rookie driver Kyle Busch, younger brother of NASCAR Winston Cup Series driver Kurt Busch, will pilot the Eldon sponsored No. 99 Ford F-150 NASCAR Craftsman Truck at Indianapolis Raceway Park Friday, August 3.

The rookie sensation began his career at the age of 13 in the Legends division at Las Vegas Motor Speedway. Busch currently competes in the Hitchin' Post/Exiss Legends and NASCAR Late Model divisions at the Bullring at LVMS. The 16-year-old rookie has an impressive record with ten NASCAR Late Model starts, five wins and nine top-five finishes. In his NASCAR Late Model debut, Busch captured his first win.

Busch completed successful test sessions at Toledo Speedway and Chicagoland Speedway in a NASCAR Craftsman Truck earlier this year. Busch looks to advance his racing career with the opportunity to drive for Roush Racing.

"I will go to Indy and get more experience racing in the truck series," said Busch. "I want to finish the race and not tear up the truck. I would like to thank Jack Roush, the No.99 Eldon crew and Max Jones, general manager of the (Roush) truck series," said Busch.

Race fans can watch the Power Stroke Diesel 200 at Indianapolis Raceway Park Friday, August 3 on ESPN at 8 p.m. Eastern. Saturday, August 5 fans can watch the young Busch drive his No. 04 Quality Motorsports NASCAR Late Model at the Bullring at LVMS as part of the NASCAR Weekly Racing Series.

Spectator gates open at 5 p.m. and racing begins at 6:30 p.m. General admission is $10 for adults, $8 for senior citizens/military personnel $3 for children 6-12. Children five and under are free. Admission to the Stockyard is $30 per car (maximum four people, each additional person is $8). The Family Four Pack is $20 for two adults and two children.
