LAS VEGAS-- Rich Attisani collected a NASCAR Late Model win, while Danny Medina pulled triple-duty at The Orleans NASCAR Weekly Racing Series presented by Dodge at the Bullring at Las Vegas Motor Speedway Saturday night.

Attisani posted his second NASCAR Late Model win this season in the 40-lap main event. Ray Hooper Jr., Mike Cofer and Thane Alderman raced side-by-side for the lead for several laps until Hooper fell back in the pack allowing Alderman and Cofer to battle for the lead. A flat tire caused Alderman to drop back and Cofer became loose allowing Attisani to take the lead on lap 34. Attisani was able to maintain his lead and hold off rookie Patrick Vogel and Scott Gafforini for the win.

"We needed a break tonight," Attisani said. "We got it."

Danny Medina of Colorado Springs, Colo. pulled triple-duty. He ran two Legends Cars races and a Thunder Roadster race. Medina posted his third win at the Bullring in the first Legends Cars 25-lap main event and posted a win in the Thunder Roadster 15-lap main event.

Medina had his hands full with rookie Taylor Barton and seasoned veterans Spencer Clark and Rick Rogas in the first Legends Cars main event. Medina was able to take the lead from the rookie and hold off the hard-charging Clark and Rogas for the win.

"My car was real tight coming out of the turns," Medina said. "However, it ran pretty good."

In Thunder Roadster action, Medina led all 15 laps to collect his first win to mark his first time in the 600 Racing car.

"These cars are different than the Legends Cars," Medina said. "They handle a lot better and are faster."

Barton took the checkered flag in the second Legends Cars 25-lap main event. Medina finished second followed by TJ and Spencer Clark.

Glen Burke collected his fifth win in the NASCAR Outlaw Stock division after he led 18 of the 25 laps. Mark Schottmuller finished second followed by Ken Kulikowski and Tom Youmans.

"I definitely have a lot of horsepower," Burke said. "The car in on. When we are on, we are definitely on."

NASCAR Charger driver Travis Swalwell posted his third victory this season in the 20-lap main event. Swalwell took the lead from Doug Matter on lap five and maintained his lead to capture the checkered flag. Matter finished second followed by Guy Griebel and Don Sargent.

"It was a good race and I had a lot of fun," Swalwell said. "I am not thinking of a championship yet. I just want to get through the season."

Kevin Terrell picked up his second-consecutive win this season in the 10-lap main Bandolero Cars main event.

"We have been struggling all season long," Terrell said. "We now have a feel for the cars."
