Petropoulos visits Atlanta area school

(Atlanta, GA) October 21, 2004 - Peter Petropoulos, a local area NASCAR Dodge Weekly Series driver, plans to put his speaking skills to work in October when he visits another Atlanta-area school to talk about the pitfalls of drug use.

The 25-year old driver, members of his Race Team and the No. 28 Buford Plumbing, Edy's Grand Ice Cream Chevrolet Monte Carlo at his side when he visits Pharr Elementary School in Snellville GA on Tuesday October 26, 2004.

Peter has competed in 2004 at Lanier National Speedway in the NASCAR Dodge Weekly Series along with various appearances with the Southern AllStar Racing Series and Georgia Asphalt Series events

Aside from his racing career, Petropoulos is frequently involved in Race against Drugs, a program associated with NASCAR and other racing sanctioning bodies. He can often be found stressing to kids the importance of making right decisions in life, especially when it involves the use of alcohol, drugs, and tobacco.
