Portland, Ore. Eric Sayre Of Vancouver, Wash. has waited many years to win the biggest race for the local NASCAR Weekly Racing Series competitors at Portland Speedway and Friday night the dream was been realized as he dominated the second half of the 100-lap event for the NWRS Grand American Modifieds to score his first win of the season. Sayre was followed to the line by Don Jenner, Ray Elwess, Tom Pinkowsky, and Gary Morris rounding out the top five.
