MOORESVILLE, NC (May 14, 2007)--Rusty Wallace, Inc. (RWI) has shown that the company's commitment to growth continues, as it recently announced two key additions to its marketing staff. Jimmy Bruns has been named Vice President of Marketing and Sponsorship and Greg Wallace, the oldest son of the company's founder, Rusty Wallace, has been appointed Vice President of Brand Management.
Bruns comes to RWI from IMG's Charlotte consulting office, where he assisted clients, such as Comcast Spotlight, execute their NASCAR strategies. His resume also includes work with International Speedway Corporation and the Orlando Magic. In his new role, Jimmy will oversee sponsor services and new business development for RWI and its RWI Racing subsidiary. A Texas native, Bruns holds a bachelor's degree from Southwestern University.
Greg Wallace returns "home" to RWI following a stint with the sports and events group at IPG's The Martin Agency. Prior to that experience, Wallace also spent time with both NASCAR and NASCAR Images. At RWI, he will oversee the branding, communications and licensing functions of the company which his family has built during its 30-plus years in auto racing. Originally from St. Louis, Missouri, Wallace holds a MBA from Wake Forest University's Babcock Graduate School of Management and a B.A. in Economics from Virginia's Hampden-Sydney College.
Noted Chief Executive Officer, Rusty Wallace, "I hope that our partners take these moves as a sign of our dedication to professionalism and growth. We're always looking for ways to help both our current and potential partners maximize their returns on investment and I strongly believe that these additions will really strengthen our ability to do just that."
