Rancho Santa Margarita, California (December 11, 2000) - Dave Reed Racing today announces that Yerf-Dog Fun Karts has extended its sponsorship of the team in a fifteen-race deal for the 2001 season.

The team's tentative schedule is primarily comprised of events in the Featherlite Southwest Series, NASCAR Touring, but also includes a few NASCAR Winston West Series and NASCAR Slim Jim All-Pro Series events.

Yerf-Dog Fun Karts began its relationship with Dave Reed Racing and driver Craig Raudman early in the 2000 season with a schedule of six planned events. Raudman's dominating on-track performance resulted in a level of exposure for Yerf-Dog that exceeded anyone's expectations.

Raudman won the Los Angeles Ford Street Race, which was televised live to the Los Angeles market on NBC. Raudman continued to dominate the competitio n in each event he entered, winning Bud Pole Awards, leading laps and gaining top five finishes.

Team owner Dave Reed said, "The Yerf-Dog products lend themselves so well to both the sport of racing and to the fans. Our Fun-Kart giveaway programs and midway displays were great successes, and including the company's mascot, Captain Yerf-Dog, in our victory circle celebrations is a lot of fun."

Reed continued, "We also appreciate having a sponsor who is actively involved in our program. Rich joins us for many of the races, and has experienced first-hand the value of his involvement."

"Our involvement with Dave Reed's team is our first in racing," said Rich Godfrey, President of Yerf-Dog Fun Karts. "The response to our program has been very positive, and Craig's performance this year resulted in a great deal of publicity for our products. We knew we had to come back for more."

Yerf-Dog Fun Karts range from Yerf-Pups to go carts with full suspension to provide outdoor recreation for kids of all ages. Yerf-Dog Fun Karts are much like small dune buggies, and are great for desert fun or in other open outdoor areas. Roll bars and ATC balloon tires give Yerf-Dog Fun Karts a sporty look with lots of performance.

Flexible Flyer manufactures the Yerf-Dog Fun Karts, Universal Fitness Equipment, Monsoon ATVs, swing-sets, trampolines and hobbyhorses in a 750,000 square foot manufacturing facility in West Point, Mississippi.

Dave Reed Racing operates NASCAR Winston West and Featherlite Southwest Series, NASCAR Touring teams featuring Craig Raudman as driver. His results for the 2000 season to date include one win, three top five finishes and one Bud Pole Award. Raudman finished in the top five in final points standings in four of his past five full NASCAR Featherlite Southwest Series seasons.
