JIM COURAGE JR. TO STEP INTO GRAND NATIONAL DIVISON FOR T.O.E PERFORMANCE

Suisun, CA-- SRL driver Jim Courage Jr. who just made a hard charge for the 2006 SRL Wild West Late Model Shootout Series Championship will switch gears to make his NASCAR Grand National Division, AutoZone West Series debut. Courage Jr., will join the T.O.E Performance team and drive the #25 Landgro Landscape/Downtown Ford of Sacramento Ford for the "Altamont 200" at Altamont Motorsports Park (AMP).

Tony Oddo Sr. of T.O.E Performance has been preparing engines for Courage's touring program over the last ten years. Jim Courage Jr. equipped with T.O.E Performance engines has won countless races along with a championship, the two look forward to working together as team own and driver to produce the same results

"I'm excited for the opportunity to work with Tony Oddo and T.O.E Performance," says Courage Jr. "This is a huge learning experience for me, with more horse power, weight, and a longer race, I'm ready to get in the car and do my best."

T.O.E Performance has proved to be a competitive racing team while only running a limited schedule. With only three starts this year the team has been able to post two top-ten finishes with two different drivers. T.O.E Performance is coming together again with Landgro Landscape after a top-ten finish at Infineon Raceway. T.O.E Performance, Landgro Landscape along with Downtown Ford of Sacramento look to have continued success at the season finale.

The 2006 October Classic at Altamont Motorsports Park will be the first Grand National Division race in eight years since Kevin Harvick took the win in June 1998. Courage Jr. has competed in two SRL races at AMP since the track took a complete make over and regained its NASCAR sanction in 2006. With a fourth place finish in the September SRL race Courage Jr. feels confident about his move into the Grand National Division.
