Eric Holmes looking for a Victory in Sonoma
Antelope, CA- Bill McAnally Racing's driver of the No. 20 NAPA Auto Parts Toyota Camry, Eric Holmes will be looking to record his first win at the road course of Infineon Raceway on June 19th. Holmes is more of a short- track specialist but is looking forward to racing with the 'road-course' specialist NASCAR Canadian Tire Champion Andrew Ranger and last year's winner and current reigning NASCAR K&N Pro Series West champion Jason Bowles. Holmes has two victories this year and looks to close the gap on first place in the points race for the 2010 series championship. He is currently in second and only 42 points out of first after four events.
Holmes recorded second and third place finishes in recent trips to the 1.99- mile road course in the heart of the California wine country. He was on the pole in 2008. "I really want to win this race," said Holmes. "When we finally put the No. 20 NAPA Toyota Camry in Victory Lane it will be awesome. This has been a track that has been number 1 on my list to win for a long time. We keep coming close but so far it's alluded us."
