After final eliminations in Vegas, five DSR drivers will go to Pomona, Calif.

LAS VEGAS - The Countdown to the Championship was created to add drama to the end of the season, and the script heading to the season-finale in two weeks couldn't be better.

Best of all, five Don Schumacher Racing drivers will have story roles when the final chapter of the 2012 NHRA Full Throttle Drag Racing Series season concludes at Pomona, Calif.

Only four points separates points leader Jack Beckman and Ron Capps, who beat Beckman Sunday for the event title in the Big O Tires NHRA Nationals at The Strip at Las Vegas Motor Speedway.

Brown and the Matco Tools team is 65 points ahead of Schumacher's U.S. Army team and 70 in front of Massey and the FRAM/Prestone team. When the teams arrived at Las Vegas on Friday, Brown led Massey by 104 points and Schumacher by 136.
