McCLENATHAN EARNS LANE CHOICE IN FOUR-WIDE FINAL

CONCORD, N.C. (March 28, 2010) - Driving the FRAM Top Fuel dragster, Cory McClenathan earned lane choice for the final round of the Inaugural NHRA Four-Wide Nationals today, which will be contested on Monday, March 29, after rain halted on-track action today.

McClenathan will meet up with Doug Kalitta, Doug Herbert and his Don Schumacher Racing teammate Antron Brown in the final. He and Kalitta posted identical 3.809-second reaction times in the semifinal, but McClenathan's faster speed of 318.77 mph to Kalitta's 317.57 earned him the edge.

In the opening round against Brandon Bernstein, Rhonda Hartman-Smith and Morgan Lucas, "Cory Mac" set low ET of the day, a 3.790/319.14 mph pass to earn lane choice for the semifinal.

The final round will be held at 11 a.m. ET on Monday, March 29. ESPN2's continuation of coverage of the rain-delayed NHRA Four-Wide Nationals at zMAX Dragway has been scheduled for Monday at 12:30 p.m. (ET).
