ARLINGTON, Texas -- Berryman Products' Chief Operating Officer John Ehlert announced today the extension of a marketing partnership through the end of the 2002 NHRA POWERade Drag Racing Series on the Berryman B-12 Chemtooler Top Fueler piloted by veteran Top Fuel driver Cory McClenathan.

McClenathan debuted the Berryman B-12 Chemtooler Top Fueler at last weekend's O'Reilly Fall Nationals at the Texas Motorplex. Carrying the corporate red, white and blue colors of Berryman Products, the Henkelman & Baca dragster is dubbed "Chemtooler" after Berryman's cartoon character mascot, who represents B-12 Chemtool, Berryman's flagship product line.

"We are pleased to announce our continued involvement with Cory McClenathan and Henkelman & Baca Motorsports for the final two races of the NHRA POWERade schedule." said Ehlert. "While personally viewing the entire race weekend here in Dallas, along with company owners Truman, Maurice and Ed Blankenship, we were able to meet with fans and teams and verify firsthand that the demographics surrounding the NHRA fit perfectly with our marketing efforts.

"Berryman feels that continued association with Cory Mac and Henkelman & Baca Motorsports affords us the continued opportunity to deliver the Berryman message of high performance and quality products to the NHRA audience of DIFM (Do It For Me) professional installers and DIY'ers (Do-It-Yourself).

"Motorsports has become the cornerstone of our marketing efforts over the past three years. We have been working with professional race teams and tracks to develop programs which bring our products to the motorsports infrastructure and workplace while providing maximum exposure for the Berryman brand of professional-use products."

McClenathan added the following, "Berryman has an awesome lineup of products. Their B-12 Chemtool and their brake cleaner is the best on the market. Berryman Products have been around drag racing forever but Dallas was their first real opportunity to experience the sights, sounds and performance of NHRA POWERade drag racing firsthand and I, along with the entire Henkelman and Baca team, am excited to continue our association through the end of this season."
