</pre> Indianapolis, Ind. (Sept. 3) - Larry Kopp, driver of the Speedco Truck Lubes Chevrolet S-10 Pro Stock Truck, came to Indianapolis for the running of the 46th Annual NHRA US Nationals trying to make another visit to the Indianapolis Raceway Park winners circle. However, due to a number of engine related problems, Kopp would fail to qualify.

"I'm pretty disappointed," said Kopp. "I really would liked to have qualified here, but we ran out of rounds.

"We had engine problems all weekend. In the second session, we had a rocker adjuster back off. I knew it as soon as I started the truck. We pushed the truck out of the water box and never made a pass. Saturday night we put in our new motor. So we wasted the first three sessions.

"It was like starting back at the beginning Sunday morning. I made a decent pass in the morning and stepped it up little. We thought we could get into the show in the last session, but we just didn't have enough.

"I am disappointed to not make the race, but I am very encouraged with how my team is coming around.

"I have a new Crew Chief, Eric Luzinski. I feel like he has really made a difference, and I am excited about working with him for the rest of the season.

"We didn't qualify here, but we will get them next time. I'm sure of that.

The next stop for the Pro Stock Trucks will be the 12th Annual NHRA Advance Auto Parts Nationals in Topeka, Kan. Sept. 28 - Oct. 1.
