"Coming off our win in Houston I couldn't be more excited to get back to the track. We have such an awesome team here at DPM with the Matco Tools guys and I just want to keep the

momentum going. I've never won at (Las) Vegas, but I had never won at Houston either, so we're going to do our best to make it two straight. I know there will be a lot of Matco support cheering us on."

Lee Beard (crew chief) on Las Vegas 1

"It's exciting to go to Vegas. Our David Powers Motorsports team has done very well there in the past. We're still riding a high with Antron's first victory at Houston. Hopefully we can have great success at Las Vegas as well."

Brown Houston Las Vegas 1

Two weeks ago in Houston, Brown made NHRA history becoming the first driver to win races in both Top Fuel in Pro Stock Motorcycle. The 10-year veteran of the two-wheel category defeated Larry Dixon, 4.605 to 4.621, to earn his first career Top Fuel win. It was Brown's 17th career win and first at the Houston track.

Brown enters the spring Las Vegas race ranked third in the NHRA Top Fuel standings. The first-year Top Fuel racer earned the pole at the season-opening Winternationals (4.495 seconds) and won in his fourth career Top Fuel start (Houston). He trails points-leader Tony Schumacher by 78 points. In eight career tries at the Las Vegas track, Brown advanced to one final round, 2001, when he was runner-up to Shawn Gann. He has an average qualifying position of eight at LVMS.

Brown has qualified for 149 consecutive NHRA events. He hasn't missed the cut since the Gainesville race in 1998 after being disqualified for bad fuel at his first career race. It is the second longest qualifying streak in the professional ranks (Angelle Sampey--168).

Brown became the eighth different driver that crew chief Lee Beard has tuned to the pole award and 10th different racer Beard has tuned to a win in Top Fuel or Funny Car. Beard has two wins and three poles at the Las Vegas race with drivers Kenny Bernstein and Whit Bazemore.

Fuller and the David Powers Motorsports team will call the Golden Nugget Hotel & Casino home during the spring NHRA Las Vegas race.
