Memphis: Daniel Wilkerson Saturday notes

D. WILK SITS IT OUT ON SATURDAY, WILL RACE FROM 8th SPOT

Dan Wilkerson was comfortably in the field here in Memphis, after his fine Friday in Memphis, so the young driver and his team took Saturday to simply prepare for Sunday's race. D. Wilk will face Ron Capps in round one.

"It's kind of crazy to be out here all day and not run, but we knew we were in pretty solid and we just wanted to make sure we have everything in order and ready to go for round one," Wilkerson said. "It's going to be pretty cool to do through the driver introductions again, and then line up next to Ron Capps. We'll just try to give them everything we have, and maybe we can play spoiler out here tomorrow. My dad and I are on opposite sides of the ladder, so I guess you'd have to say that we're both going to be having huge days if we end up racing each other late in the day. We'll give it our best shot."
