In the first qualifying session John Coughlin was the first of the two Jeg's Mail Order Pro Stock Truck drivers to take on the Memphis Motorsports Park track. John left from the right lane. The launch was a little on the aggressive side. John ran a 7.585 at 177.23 mph and landed in the No. 18 spot.

"We were a little too aggressive during the first session," said John. "We did learn a lot about the track on our first run."

The team had the luxury of learning from John's first run before Mike Coughlin made his first run of the weekend in the same lane. Mike left the starting line and made a small move and then took off toward the finish line. He ran a 7.534 at 178.42 mph and ended up in the No. 6 position.

"We learned from John's run," commented Mike. "That is one of the advantages of having a two truck team."

During the second session John broke when he left the starting line. He moved to the No. 27 spot.

"We will tear this thing a part and find out what went wrong," said John. "It might have even been something that hurt us in the first session."

Mike improved during the second session. He was in the prefered left lane. Mike ran a 7.486 at 179.23 mph and ended up in the No. 5 slot.

"We are gaining ground and will start the final day of qualifying with strong data," commented Mike. "I expect we will see big thing from the yellow and black tomorrow."
