LAS VEGAS, March 27, 2000-Steve Harwell, lead singer of Smash Mouth, and associates recently announced their creation of Team Nasty Racing (www.teamnasty.com); an edgy identity in the world of motorsports driven by a line of cutting-edge clothing rallied around and designed for the extreme fan.

Spurred by their love for racing and the philosophy that "Everyone has a little NASTY in them", Harwell and crew saw the need for something fresh in the over-populated sea of racing merchandise available to fans. Designed to attract the younger more extreme audience, the TNR crew with the help of the crazed visionaries of 13th FLOOR, have created a "look" that will shock the motorsports world and provide for the more fashion conscious racing fan.

Recently teaming up with Pro Motorsports, a Midwestern based retail chain; the Team Nasty Racing logo will adorn the side of the Pro Motorsports/Team Nasty Top Fuel Funny Car driven by Cory Lee on the NHRA circuit. In addition to the vehicle sponsorship, TNR Clothing will be sold at the Pro Motorsports retail chain offering stores located in six different states and plans for ten additional stores in the year 2000.

Team Nasty Racing and Harwell have plans to continue their marketing efforts by sponsoring race teams in the genres of off-road, sprint cars, motocross, and BMX. The crew's ultimate goal is to provide the cutting edge fashion that extreme motorsports fans demand.

The TNR line includes clothing that ranges from the basic Nasty T's to full forward fashion wear. The team plans to expand their portfolio to offer a TNR women's line and Nasty accessories in the near future.

TNR Clothing is available for purchase online at www.teamnasty.com, at select NHRA events and soon to arrive in Pro Motorsports stores. For further information contact Eric Curtis at (800) 908-0544 or ec@teamnastyracing.com.
