John Force powered to a record 146 win racing past Ron Capps in the final at the 2016 NHRA Carolina Nationals at zMax Dragway in Charlotte. This is the first of six races in the NHRA Countdown to the Championship playoffs. John Force moved to third in the points toward the Funny Car championship.
