The promoter of the Micra Cup, JD Promotion & Competition with the support of Total Canada, will be staging a Nissan Micra Cup “Discovery Experience” at Circuit ICAR in Mirabel, Québec, just a few miles north of Montréal on June 18.

Participants will be paired up with a Nissan Micra Cup driver in order to ensure an exciting and safe racing experience. For every fan, this represents a unique chance to get behind the wheel of a race car and experience the thrill of speed in a safe environment.

All three instructors are hot shoes. They are from Total Team and include Valérie Limoges, 2015 Cup champion Olivier Bédard and reigning Cup champion Xavier Coupal. These three racers will teach the participants how to properly drive a Nissan Micra Cup race car, which is shod on Pirelli race slicks. Coupal, Limoges and Bédard are all front runners in the Micra Cup this season. Coupal and Bédard each won a race for far, and Limoges finished twice on the podium.

The cost for participating in the event is $295 Canadian for a 20-minute track session behind the wheel of a real Micra Cup racer. Participants must be fully comfortable using a five-speed manual transmission.

Each session will conclude with participants in the passenger seat of the famed Nissan GT-R supercar, while their Nissan Micra Cup instructor takes them on an exciting lap of the track at full speed.

In order to participate in this great event, fans must register online at http://www.micracup.com/eventregistration/.
