Andy McMillin sets his sights on top 5 finish at Parker 425

Andy recently completed his first official race as a trophy truck driver at the Laughlin Desert Challenge. Falling victim to mechanical problems both days, Andy still shined by posting some of the faster lap times of the race. Just back from testing with Robby Gordon in San Felipe, Andy is relaxed and focused for the upcoming Parker 425. With a new engine and his trusty Rancho Drivetrain Engineering M1 transmission, Andy's truck is prepped and ready.

Eager to earn the respect of the fans and drivers alike, Andy had a few things to say about the upcoming race. "I want to finish top 5 at Parker. I feel confident I can do it, this is more of the style of racing I am used to. We had some engine issues when we were pre-running the MDR Plaster City race that we took care of. Our truck is up and running in top condition. We are going to try and qualify well so we can run in clean air. This truck can really move and I just want to get it out and push it. Really the only person I am worried about going into this race is Robby Gordon, I don't want my boss to beat me."

Robby Gordon will also be entering the race driving the same H2 that he campaigned in Dakar.
