Nashville, Tenn. (April 29, 2005).Bridgestone equipped Nathan Woods (Montclair Yamaha) won his third race of the season at round five of the Rocky Mountain ATV/MC World Off-Road Championship Series (WORCS) which was held in Payette, Idaho on April 17. Woods, the defending series champ, took the lead from the beginning and raced his way to victory finishing with a comfortable margin.

Barry Hawk (Am Pro Yamaha), also competing on Bridgestone tires, won round four of the Grand National Cross Country Series (GNCC) on April 16. A hard fought race, Hawk came from behind to victory in South Carolina, answering the question who can beat Juha Salminen.

"Our technology in off-road competition tire development is extremely advanced," said Bob Graham, motorcycle and kart manager, Bridgestone Firestone North American Tire, LLC. "Our programs continue to develop off- road tires that can take the abuse, perform well, and produce winning results, as proven at these events."
