Newry, Maine — After eight thrilling rounds of head-to-head, single-elimination, off-road racing in the snow-covered mountains of Newry, Bryce Menzies successfully defended his Red Bull Frozen Rush crown, making him the first driver to win the event back-to-back. The 28-year-old Las Vegas native drove flawlessly into the final round where he faced former Frozen Rush champion Ricky Johnson.
Nine decorated drivers made up the field of racers battling in 900 horsepower Pro 4 trucks equipped with custom BFGoodrich spiked tires. The crowd of fans gathered onsite was treated to great weather, perfect for some full-contact, off-road action.
